In the standard Wix Editor, mobile is a separate layout generated from your desktop design. Wix guesses how to stack everything, and its guesses are not always good.
- New desktop elements are auto-placed on mobile and often land badly.
- Text sizes carry over and are usually far too large.
- Elements you positioned by hand on desktop stack in a surprising order.
Step 1: Open the mobile view
Click the phone icon in the editor toolbar.
Step 2: Fix it section by section
Resize headings, hide decorative items and close the gaps.
Step 3: Republish
Mobile fixes only appear to visitors after publishing.
