How to Hide an Element on Mobile in Wix
Remove clutter from phones without touching your desktop layout.

Last checked August 2026. Wix changes its interface often — if something looks different, the underlying steps usually still apply.
Step 1: Switch to the mobile view
Click the phone icon at the top of the editor.
Step 2: Select the element
Click the item you want gone from phones.
Step 3: Choose Hide on Mobile
Use the toolbar option or the right-click menu. The element disappears from mobile only.
Step 4: Find it again later
Hidden elements live in the Hidden Elements panel in the mobile view, so you can bring them back.
Careful: Do not press Delete. Deleting on mobile removes the element from your desktop site as well.
