How to Change Fonts in Wix

Change fonts everywhere at once instead of one text box at a time.

Last checked August 2026. Wix changes its interface often — if something looks different, the underlying steps usually still apply.

Step 1: Open the site theme

In the editor sidebar open the design or theme panel, then Text Themes.

Step 2: Edit the heading and paragraph themes

Changing a theme updates every element using it across the whole site.

Step 3: Stick to two fonts

One for headings, one for body text. More than that looks unplanned.

Step 4: Upload a brand font if you have one

You can add your own font files in the font picker if your brand requires it.

Step 5: Check readability on mobile

Body text below about 16 pixels is uncomfortable on a phone.

Tip: If a change does not apply, that text box was probably styled manually. Reset it to the theme first.
