Last checked August 2026. Wix changes its interface often — if something looks different, the underlying steps usually still apply.
Adding a page in Wix takes about thirty seconds. Naming it well and deciding where it sits in your menu is the part that affects whether anyone ever finds it.
Step 1: Open the Pages panel
In the editor, click Pages and Menu in the left toolbar. You will see every page on your site.
Step 2: Add the page
Click Add Page. Choose a blank page if you want full control, or a preset layout if you want a head start.
Step 3: Name it in plain language
Use the words a customer would use — Services, not Solutions. The name becomes your menu label.
Step 4: Check the page address
Open the page settings and look at the URL slug. Keep it short, lowercase and hyphenated, for example /roof-repairs.
Step 5: Decide whether it shows in the menu
In the same panel you can hide the page from the menu. Thank-you pages and landing pages usually should be hidden.
Step 6: Set the page SEO
Still in page settings, open the SEO tab and write a title and description specific to this page. Never leave the template default.
Step 7: Publish
New pages are not live until you publish the site.
